Drawing inspiration from the famous racecourse bearing the same name, the '68 Le Mans featured Pontiac Wide-Tracking for exceptional handling on "s" curves and a new "sports car" design. The medium-sized offering was available as a two-door, four-door or convertible and came standard with a 250 cid. OHH Six. Car buyers wanting to experience a more powerful "Poncho" punch could opt for the 320 hp of the 350 cid. More than 136,000 Lemans were built for the year.
