Ask any hot rod, street rod, or custom car enthusiast who the top designer in the industry is and most of the time you will hear the name Chip Foose. His name is synonymous with style, creativity, and uniqueness. Chip Foose started working as a project designer at the age of seven for his father and since then he has gone on to work for
Boyd Coddington and finally for his own company, Foose Design which is an automotive and product design company specializing in graphics, wheels, and of course cars.
Chip is also known for his hit tv show on TLC called Overhaulin where he and his employees "steal" someones decrepit automobile with the help of their family and friends and completely restore and modify it into an award winning show car in 10 days. The owner is finally told that the car is not stolen and is allowed to finally have it back. To their surprise it is now a beautiful piece of art.
RC2 / Ertl and Johnny Lightning have partnered with Chip Foose to bring you some of his more famous cars in diecast form such as his latest creation "Impression". Impression is loosely based off a 1936 Ford and modified into the beautiful car that you see in the picture above. JL Full Throttle is the official name that the diecast cars will be produced under and they will include both Chip's custom creations as well as some of the cars from Overhaulin including the Foose Mustang.
